Horse Purchasing Policy:
If a buyer is interested in moving forward with one of our horses, a 10% non-refundable deposit pulls the horse off the market for a week to set up a pre-purchase exam. After the exam, the buyer has 24 hours to determine if the buyer would like to move forward with the purchase or terminate the sale. If the buyer chooses to terminate the sale and releases the pre purchase exam and all records (X-rays, blood results, etc) then 50% of the deposit will be refunded. If the buyer opts to not go through with a pre-purchase exam, the deposit is 100% non-refundable.
Buyers are welcome to set up a PPE without putting down a deposit however the horse will continue to be advertised for sale and shown to other prospective buyers. By not putting down a deposit, it is not guaranteed that the horse will still be available.
Butter Up Katie aka Katie
Katie is a 2014, 16.1 hand chestnut TB mare. Katie goes against all redhead stereotypes - She’s in your pocket, she loves attention, she loves to be doted and groomed. Katie came from very caring connections on the track, and it shows. Her personality is easy going, both in the barn and under saddle. She’s an old soul type that is very straight forward and very ammy-friendly. Katie has no vices or unsoundesses. Katie has auto changes, is brave to the fences and has just the right amount of ‘motor’. She’s a super sensible mare that can excel in any discipline and would be a perfect fit for a junior ammy looking for a lovely all-round mount.
Banks is a 2017, 16.1+ bay TB gelding who checks all the boxes - in your pocket, great manners, fantastic jump, super sensible under saddle, easy in the barn, and not to mention his great forelock. Banks has blown me away with his work ethic, his professionalism both in and out of the ring, and how quickly he understands new questions. Banks requires zero show prep. He’s brave to the fences and loves having a job. He does have a motor but has equally great brakes. He is a bit more of the sensitive type ride - so he likes a rider with softer hands. Banks has a solid foundation, great flatwork and all the pieces to make a fantastic jumper or eventer mount. No vices. No unsoundnesses. He has been a joy to have in the barn.
Coors is a 2010, 16.1+h Grey TB Gelding. Coors is a lovely type that is a very uphill and light in the bridle. He puts in 100% effort over every fence with a nice and tidy hind end. Goes in a hackamore. A straightforward ride, Coors does best with a soft rider who can ride leg to hand. Showing 1.0m+ with plenty of scope to step up into the upper level jumpers. Schooling up to 1.20m.
